Terms & Conditions for Doctor Collaboration
1. Definitions
- “Platform” refers to the The Medzo digital platform operated by Manogatam Company.
- “Doctor/Service Provider” refers to licensed medical professionals offering services through The Medzo.
- “User/Patient” refers to individuals accessing medical consultations or health services.
- “Data” refers to medical, personal, and professional information shared on the platform.
2. Eligibility & Professional Obligations
- Doctors must hold a valid medical license, remain in good standing, and comply with all applicable healthcare regulations.
- Doctors are responsible for the accuracy of their profile, qualifications, and service information.
- Doctors agree to provide services with professional care, ethical standards, and confidentiality.
3. Use of the Platform
- The Platform is a technology facilitator, not a healthcare provider.
- Doctors remain independent practitioners, not employees or agents of The Medzo.
- The usage of this platform is restricted to people residing in in India physically at the time of consultation
- Doctors must not use the Platform for:
- Misleading claims
- Unapproved treatments
- Prescription misuse
- Any activity violating medical laws or ethics
4. Data Sharing & Privacy
- Doctors may upload or share professional and patient-related data only as required for providing services.
- All data shared must comply with local health data protection laws.
- The Medzo may store, process, and use data for:
- Service delivery
- Identity verification
- Analytics and platform improvement
- The Medzo will not sell or misuse doctor-provided data.
- Doctors must maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
5. Consultations & Service Delivery
- Doctors are responsible for:
- Timely consultations
- Accurate medical advice
- Proper documentation of sessions
- The Medzo may monitor service quality for compliance and user safety.
6. Payment Terms
- Doctors will receive payment for services based on:
- Consultation fees set by The Medzo or mutually agreed
- Revenue-share model (percentage retained by The Medzo)
- Payment ratio (75%:25% :: Doctos:TheMedzo)
- Payments are processed on a 7 calendar days to the doctor’s registered bank account subject to clearance from payment gateway
- The Medzo may deduct :
- Platform fees
- Taxes as required by law
- Refunds issued to users in case of service disputes
- Doctors must provide accurate banking and tax information.
7. Cancellations & Refunds
- The Medzo reserves the right to issue refunds to users for:
- Refunds may be deducted from the doctor’s payable balance.
- Missed appointments
- Service quality issues
- Technical failures
8. Intellectual Property
- Doctors retain ownership of their medical content but grant The Medzo a non-exclusive license to display it on the platform.
- The Medzo retains ownership of all platform technology, branding, and software.
9. Liability & Indemnity
- Doctors are solely responsible for the medical advice and treatment they provide.
- The Medzo is not liable for:
- Medical outcomes
- Misdiagnosis
- Professional negligence
- Doctors agree to indemnify The Medzo against claims arising from their services.
10. Suspension & Termination
- The Medzo may suspend or terminate a doctor’s access for:
- Misconduct or malpractice
- Violation of platform rules
- Fraudulent activity
- Repeated user complaints Doctors may terminate their participation with written notice.
11. Amendments
- The Medzo may update these Terms & Conditions periodically.
- Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
12. Governing Law
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where The Medzo operates
